did you try putting bolts in the holes in the brake rotors to pull them off?

I think you just need a strong arm

air compressor is good to have. cant tell you if that ones good or not. just go to a store and ask around.

ya u need a strong arm and a hammer. it would be good for taking lugs off wheels quickly...

how often do you work on your brakes and suspension? it may not be worth it if you're rarely going to be using it.
but a good air compressor would be one with a motor that fills the tank up faster and also the bigger the tank the better. that one you have in the picture will have the motor almost running every minute with airtools. its annoying to hear the compressor motor because it's so fricken loud especially in a closed garage. so for just undoing lug nuts and suspension bolts, it should do the job. get quality air tools btw, not the ****ty all-in-one sets cuz they will break a lot sooner. but for continuous use of air tools like grinders, sanders, air hammers etc, you'll need a MUCH bigger tank and a high performing compressor.

please let me wholeheartedly recommend this craftsman:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_0...scriptionAnchor

I've had mine for a little over a year now and it hasn't let me down. It runs REAL quiet compared to alot of the competition, the cfm is great (my IR impact has yet to run out of torque) and the build quality is top notch. The only down side is that the complementary impact wrench and ratchet are inefficient/weak.
also the supplied nylon hose is a pita to use in the winter.

Those are small things though, keep you eye out for this to go on sale and you can pick it up for 250 like i did. its definitely worth it thumbsup.gif
