tein is a much more trusted company across the globe. personally i like them, but they are too common so i am not getting them. they have the best overall rated coilovers. but the ones for our cars dont come with pillowball mounts.

performance: teins

comfort: teins are soft, megans i dunno.

it all comes down to what u you will be using them for

Proformance and comfort what I am looking for ! but like u say does not come with pillowball mounts ,

Cusco pillowball mounts review seem to make noise and rub? also add 1" when installed ?

im pretty sure they dont rub. that would be more the coilovers settling into the weight. thats the only noise i could assume that would come from coilovers.
all coilovers u get will be alot stiffer than the normal setup u have. all of them will feel uncomfortable, but some are softer(more comfort) than others.
i suggest the teins for you.
the pillow ball mounts will not add 1" to your car trust me

Comfort depends on the person. What stiffness are you able/willing to tolerate?

performance: Don't know, as I've never ridden on tein SS coils, but I was super impressed with the megans.

Comfort: Megan coils have 32 levels of adjustable damper. Teins only have 16.

Megans spring rate is 10K front/8K rear
Teins spring rate is unknown?

Megan Coilovers are better as far as bang for the buck, and performance. The SS coilovers are Tein's mid-range coilovers.

I would go with the Megans.
