no, you have to take the seats apart, and take off the cloth by cutting the "hogrings", remove the wires from the cloth covers and put them in the leather covers and take all of the covers to an auto upholstery place to get the interlocking plastic channels sewn onto the leather, then install the leather on the foam using new hogrings. Then I used a heatgun to remove wrinkles.

Im thinking about getting these too. I talked to a local car shop earlier today and they said that they would put them in for about $140. Do you think I should go for it??

if you've got the cash, leave it to the pros. if you've got the time, do it yourself. I was trying to save some money and had some time on my hands so I did it myself and now every time I'm in my car I'm proud that I did it myself.

use the "make an offer" feature on ebay for the covers, I think theyll accept $350 for all 4 covers.

I have these, still in the box because I haven't had the time to install them.

I only got the front seats because I have black rear seats. I had him do them in vinyl. They quality looks great, as for the fit I have no idea. One of these days I'll get to it.

Those are really good. It should have been made holes for the headrests and the pins on the backseats though.

When I took the covers to the auto upholstery shop for minor mods, I asked the guy to cut the headrest holes, and he said that was a bad idea because depending on how you stretch the cover over, the holes might be slightly off... it's much safer to cut them yourself after the cover is permanently installed.

I bought these for my daughter's 94 coupe before she totalled it. They are black with red stitching if anyone needs any like that.

Do these fit seats that were originally cloth, leather or both? Does anyone know? I mean, I thought the cloth seats had a different shape than the leather ones. Am I wrong?

Also, does anyone know if the coupe and vert rear seats are the same?

I think its the same. They fit Celica ST cloth seats perfectly. The covers to the front seats are a bit too small though, so I must do something here.
