Do I just need to use some silicone lubricant to loosen up the bushes...or is there a more serios problem.

FYI I have a 1998 ST...stock suspension...the creaking is a rubbery creak....not a grindy-metally one.

I can't remember if the ball joints and what not are greasable. Get under there and check for grease fittings, if you find them, grease them. That should take care of the problem.

I never checked if we have grease fittings, but even if we don't you can still grease them with a grease gun and this injector needle.

Its a tiny [way smaller than it looks in that pic] needle that goes through the rubber and makes such a small hole that its nearly impossible for the grease to come back out. biggrin.gif

No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

hey samir0189, where do you get this thing from. I might need to use it for my front sway bar bushings. cause im having a real hard time taking the bushings out so that i can put silicone lub on them. Any suggestion on how to take them out. I know you need a 12mm socket and then there is a bolt that requires you to use a alloy wrench. but theres almost no space to work. I have st sway bars. i had my friend help me but i want to do it on my own

I get it from Tractor Supply Company store locally. You need to have a grease gun and air compressor to use it though.

I dunno how to take those out.. never had to myself, sorry. frown.gif

IIRC there are some zerk fittings under there somewhere, its the reason why I bought my grease gun. Its been a while since ive been under there but I saw them when i changed out my brake pads.
