Do the plastic door sills from a celica 96+ fit in a 94-95 celica?

I've bought some door sills to mount onto the plastic, but they're from a 98 model and I've got a 95 model.

as long as it's a hatchback, it's guaranteed to work.

not saying they are different but hatchback doorsills have the same part number from 94-99. coupes have different part numbers than the hatchback ones.. but i'm not sure if they are physically different.

I bought some door sills and I thought that they were the same size as my plastic ones, but they don't fit very well.
I probably have to modify them to make them fit.

I have door sills from a '96 coupe that fit my '98 hatchback just fine. I haven't measured anything, but I had my hatch taken apart one day and had all 4 door sills thrown in a pile. I noticed when I put my car back together that I had grabbed one of my coupe sills (it was dirty when I had just cleaned my car with Armor-All the day before so it was easy to tell.)
