This is on the Injen intake (sounds bloody awesome btw)
How important is the check valve in the tube from the valve cover to the intake nipple? My car definitely did not have one. I realize it makes sure the air only travels in one direction, but is it really necessary? If it is can i just use a regular universal PCV valve? ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Promasta: Dec 22, 2008 - 11:32 AM |

If that valve is a one way, it is to keep oil from entering your air filter housing at high rpm. Due to the PCV system over pressurizing. So yes I would def put one on it if it was there stock.
