Ok so Ive had my Celica for a while and Im pretty happy with it. Im waiting until I get a body kit and a wing (Isnt it crazy how a wing and a body kit can give you an extra 150 H.P. XD, lol) before I paint it because I dont feel like having to paint parts at different times and hope they come out looking exactly the same. But anyways Im looking to stray away from the white because it gets so dirty and I guess Im not really attracted to the white. I was thinking a really nice glossy red but I dont feel like being a cop magnet even though any 2 door car speeding is a cop magnet. Also my interior is painted red so I really wanna match it up as best I can. The only thing I dont want is to open the doors, and the hood and have that white in the door jams and under the hood pop up at me. So basically what Im asking here is if I wanted to get a really nice gloss paint job (probably red) and make it look good what price range am I looking at, becuase Im not exactly Oprah Winfrey or Bill Gates over here. Lol. And I know to stay away from cheap paint jobs, I saw what it did to my sisters Neon.
Thanks, STCeli -------------------- 1997 Celica ST

The supra gunmetal colour? I like that alot, it looks like it wont show alot of dirt, and I havent seen many other cars on the street that color. Do you know how much I would be looking at for a paintjob like that? -------------------- 1997 Celica ST

for a "decent" paintjob, with jams, your talking at least 3k.
minimum. with no bodywork. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

all i did was go to my friends dad to paint mine. I wanted to learn how so i helped im with the prep work and acctually got to paint some of my car. came out to about 3g(including bodykit and CF hood) but we had some complications with the body kits so that added a few hundred. if i were u id try and find someone u know to do it. it will end up being cheaper and they would do a better job because they know u haha good luck tho
