I'm in the process of replacing the sunroof (cracked glass) in my 94' hatch, I have the original sunroof out of the car in my garage and a replacement ready to go, however, I need to install the freshly painted black sliding cover into the new sunroof.

Does anyone know how to remove and reinstall the sliding cover? I couldn't seem to figure that part out. kindasad.gif

Update: removed the sunroof glass via the 4 bolts under the plastic covers. But still can't figure out how to get this cover to slide into the track. I know a number of people have painted or reupholstered their interiors, so someone HAS to have done this before!

Thanks, but I have the entire sunroof assembly out of the car and on my living room floor. The sunroof glass has been removed, now I'm just trying to figure out how the cover is supposed to get installed. I think I might have figured out how to loosen up the track and slide it in. If I figure it out I'll post some pics.
