I don't really like Country, but always had mad respect and even bumped a lil bit of Dwight Yoakam. That guy is in movies man! Plus I live in Bakersfield, him and Buck Owens were good friends. Buck Owens was one of the most respected members of our community and a great man. My Aunt worked for him for our biggest Country music station here and he sold her one of his Lexus for $1. Even paid the fees for her and such, way way back. Good guy he was.

Anyways, I honestly do not like Country. I had a point to this....... Oh yeah! You guys gotta stop with the "Random" threads. I keep thinking I am going to be outed for having red riser blocks! LOL Don't worry, the car will be red soon and those blocks to black..... So I can stop hearing you guys give me $#!T over it, and also the fact that the car was originally red. Saves me from having to paint the entire engine bay. LOL

Yeah he is a cool guy. I suppose Toby Keith? Yeah I think that's his name. He's alright too. I just never really got into it, I mean it isn't bad, just not my thing. I do like the old sounding country though. Kinda hard to get into the newer stuff for me. Oh snap! And Shania Twain? That's Wifey right there! Especially with black hair.... Oh Laurdy!

Thanks about the blocks man, I do think they are unique and like them. But I want the car red, cuz that is the next best thing and the vents stand out better on a lighter color, such as Silver, White, Red, Baby Blue, etc.... I don't like it so much in black. Maybe when I get the MR2 I might do it black, I dunno. But I want different rims too, like some deep dish with black. It would look good on red, but with a chrome lip. I dunno though, we will see.

Don't be so stressed on the kind of music you like. I like music with chicks singing, still love my vocal trance and such. I wonder if it was because my mom would sing me to sleep? I dunno. But I love tons of songs that have chicks singing and stuff. I know how you feel though, but HEY! Think about it this way........ Is it more gay to love the voice of a woman or a man? You gotta really step back and ask yourself. Anyways, it's just music man. No one else can experience what you feel until they do, so....... With that said. It's all good.

I can't say anything bad about country music. I bet I listen to music that probably nobody else on here has even heard of, so me saying I dislike country would be begging to start a bloodbath. But I will say that I hate the people that can't sing country but think they can... Surely we all have that "one friend" that thinks they are an awesome singer and can sing whatever they want. Where I live, country is the dominant genre, so I'm constantly bombarded by terrible artificial southern accents and Dale Earnhardt/Toby Keith mixes, both being poorly imitated. Famous country singers are famous because.. uh.. they can actually sing. But my friends, they cannot. And it's sad sometimes.
