Need a Little Help ...

Went to go do a tune up (the car was running a bit weird, like the timing was off or there was moister in the cap/rotor) and I pulled the spark plugs and the two middle plugs were soaked with oil Is it time for a motor rebuild or is this just a seal/gasket issue? It has 142, xxx miles on the engine & chassis. I pulled the valve cover off to try and see if there were any cracks along those long tubes (the ones the spark plug goes down) Any inofrmation would help ... Thanks ...

Correct me if I am wrong, those are the seals under the nuts that hold down the valve cover, right? After inspecting them they did look a little brittle and hard.

The oil dipstick wasn't milky, just oil on it.
