 Getting a small static Shock getting out of my car |

Ok I know it's wierd but everytime I get out of my Car after i drive for a bit I grab the door sill and I always get a small shock. this never happens when I get in my car or get out before I go for a drive. Just wondering if this is a common Problem

Cloth seats and dry weather. Happens to me all the time in the winter. During summer, when it's more humid, I never get shocked, but since it's winter and the air is dry, I get shocked all the time. The simple solution is to always grab the plastic door handle and close the door using that. Watch out for the lock though! The drawback is you won't get shocked on your car, but you're gonna touch something else metal or touch someone almost immediately after getting out of your car. It's inevitable. You won't get shocked by your car, but you will get shocked somehow. Lol.

Also don't forget to ground yourself on the car before fueling. And if you get back in the car and get out to take the nozzle out of the fill tube ground yourself on the hood or something so you don't torch your car.
