and what does that get you exactly?

i would doubt you will get EVERYTHING you need for 1450.

and if you did, i wouldnt expect it to be in "drop in" condition.

if you think your doing a swap for 1500$, your sadly mistaken.

Do you want to tune the car and squeeze every bit out of it? Or do you want something to run like factory and go fairly fast? If you want to first then do the 5s turbo. If you want factory and fast do the 3sgte. Advantage of the 3sgte no need to tune. Advantage of the 5s turbo very torquey bottom end power.

I have had both and if I were to do it all over again I would have done the 5s turbo right with a some what built 5s. I was sick of tuning and figured the 3s swap would be easier, later on finding out you are soo limited with the factory computer. If you like tinkering around with your car do the 5s turbo. besides with the 5s turbo you don't have to yank your motor out, unless you plan on doing maintenance.

if you have a good 3k saved up...do the 3s swap...so much more potential and more power...plus you have a gt already which makes the swap that much easier...your gonna be doing an equal amount of work turboing that 5s then you would droping in a new motor.

Trying to boost a motor with 170,000 miles is a bad idea.
Trying to do a swap on a $1,500 budget is also a bad idea.
