7th gen generic is not even close to a TRD quickshifter... whole different shifter altogether... several posts already on this topic... if you want a TRD quickshifter... there is no substitute... and i have used both....
got mine when there was only about 3 left in the country supposedly from dealerships... cost me about $250 if i remember right

^real good to know
i found the kit for $180 and in the picture it shows the round knob is included, but i imagine the knob will be extra

yeah...i know about the trd 6gen celi shifter being differ....thanks 4 tip though...it is rough to find...i found some for $180 outside source (out of country), just wondering if it can be found here with someone selling it...smile.gif

Get in touch with KinwayTRD on www.celica-club.co.uk, he is based in Hong Kong and got me TRD short shifter (which by definition comes with TRD knob) at a good price.
