My car is about15 yrso now and I think its time to repalce the a the bushings on her. The only problem is that I have no idea where to order a complete set from. Can anybody help me out? As always the favor is greatly appreciated. -------------------- From Japan to Texas my st202 follows me.

Superflex do a poly bushes set (F823) for the rear trailing arm. In the UK they are only available from fensport.co.uk (they have an exclusive distribution license).

I was about to open a thread about this right now. My suspension bushings are all shot. I was wondering why the car felt like a bag of gummy worms and why my rear tires were wearing unevenly. There is pretty much no rubber left on the bushings. My doubt is how many bushings are in the car to replace. I saw the swaybar ones and the other ones in some parts I don't know their name. I'm not too suspension-savvy. I would love to re-do the entire suspension: all the links, arms, etc. The whole nine yards. I've searched but haven't found a thread with all the consolidated info about all the suspension bits.
EDIT: If anyone would point out what parts have bushings, I would do the rest of the homework in finding and buying those bushings and other hardware. I would then open a post about it so people don't have to look around like crazy. This post has been edited by OOBE: Jan 20, 2009 - 10:42 PM -------------------- |

I wish I could find a whole kit to upgrade everything at once but it looks like I'll have to piece it together from different places. I hear good things about Nolathane:

THANK GOD for this thread, i posted a similar one a while back and wound up buying a control arm for that annoying knock. maybe there are bushings that are about the same size as ours? i remember someone saying they filled theirs in with polyurethane injection, but idk if it came out ok.

(AT180, ST185, ST184, and GT4) I know the endlinks from twosrus are for an ST185, so it's likely that most of the suspension bushings would work for us too. -------------------- '99 Celica GT - Sold

For the record, AE111 Corolla Bushes are similar to our ST202 McPherson front lower arm bushes (can be bought cheaper than if you ask for a celica one)
Lil-Joe101, Dude, it should be easier for you to get the whole lower arm, since ur in Japan:) it takes about 1month plus for me to get it for abt 120$ |
