Keyed down the driver's side across every panel and the doorhandle.

Why? The car was dirty and half the inside has been stripped out while I'm working on the electrics so it doesn't even look like a nice Celica. Totally mindless. Pics later.

Update: pics:

The good news is my insurance offers free vandalism cover with no claims bonus protection. The bad news is that I still have to pay my excess which is £575 (large excess was to keep my premiums rock bottom). Considering either attempting the fix myself or just paying a garage to repair without putting a claim in.

Any tips on repairing key scratches?

Man, that sucks! I'm sorry to hear that. Some people these days are so.... I don't even know what to say. I hope everything works out for you.

Did you piss off a chick? It sounds like something a chick would do, at least here in the states it happens like that. Especially if she is psycho, you cheated on her, or she likes you and you got with some other chick.

Anyways, I am sorry to hear about that Davey. You are a cool guy and from what I can tell, you do not deserve that. I hope things come out in your favor and that person gets in a car accident where they have to eat food through a straw for a year.

I say that would be the best way to do it... if not, do you plan on repainting the whole thing after you do your electrical work??

The lowlife struck again on Thursday frown.gif Hit my car again, driver's rear quarter that already had his handiwork. Another car next to mine that happened to be a loan car from a garage, currently on loan to another family member. And two other neighbours.

New pics:

The top scratch is the new one.

I wasn't planning on repainting the whole car before this happened, no kindasad.gif

You know whats funny, and when I say funny I mean sucks large. My car was keyed last month on the drivers side as well and seeing your pictures, mine was keyed in almost the exact same way and path. From the front all the way to the back, right thru the handle. Is there a site online advising people to key 6GC's like this????

Actually, with my amateur sleuth hat on, I can tell it was actually keyed from the back to the front, due to the way the key bounced over the door handle, which of course means I know from which direction they were coming and to which direction they were going. Not that that really helps much wink.gif.
