Given the way the rivets are countersunk, looks to me like the kit is designed to be smoothed/shaved at the edges to blend into original bodywork, but the owner thought it would look better/unique as body armour.

yeah, that paint allong with the exposed rivets gives it a very rugged look. Its very original, but not my cup of tea.

I like parts of it, but not other parts. I like the color and the rear bumper, but I'm not liking the wide body. Just my opinion.

I actually really like how the doors and the rear look, I like how it kind of "swoops" together. I'm not a fan of the front fenders though, I think they detract from the lines of the front end as a whole. I've always thought that something like the front fenders of the RX-8 would look pretty cool on a Celica. Maybe not quite as extreme as the RX-8, but that general flared fender look. Maybe somewhere between a BMW's front fenders (for the flare, not talking about the vented Z3 fenders) and the RX-8

I personally like it. It just makes me wonder (and it's not just this body kit but all molded-on kits) how do you replace for example busted light?
Don't you have to remove bumper to actually get to a headlamp?

that's just it.. most people who mold their fenders to their bumper do it to their show cars only.. but some have done it to their daily drivers. there's really no benefit to it except for a more smoother, cleaner look.
