Hi people.
This is my first question since joining this club and I've asked in over at some other forums I've joind but not had much help. So the question: What is the smallest battery I can get for my ST205? I plan on relocating it but as many of you know, the stock battery is one huge mofo. I know some people are useing the Caterham Banner 53034 but I'm after sometihng a bit more flatter and not so high. Can anyone help? |

Well you should be concerned about the cranking amps. If you plan on relocating it, why does it matter? Buy yourself a nice battery box or tray to put in the rear of the car and call it a day.

well what I really want to do is relocate the battery to the left hand side where the ABS should be. I've re routed the washer bottle feed and measured the space against my stock battery and I just need it shorter by 1.75 inchs for it to fit.
I have a relocation kit to the boot already but I really dont like the idea of doing that cos there's quite a bit of wiring and its not as if the GT4 boot isn't small enough already plus its ugly. I think if i can have it in the ADS space, that would be perfect. |
