it keeps asking me to put in a nick name but i dont have that option on my screen what am i doing wrong >_<

Can you take a screenshot the next time this happens? And maybe try clearing cookies and logging in again?

im at work so i cant take a screen shot or post it >_< ill try and see if it happens when i get home it might be something with the security systems here but it was working yesterday so i was just hopeing it wasnt

turns out i had my self logged in all day from home >_< i guess u cant log in twice! well lession learned at least nothign wrong with the chat
