Hi everyone,

are ABS sensors from Celicas with Superstrut suspension the same than standard suspension ABS sensors

i finally found one ....just wonder if my car will take it

also, 1rsttoyotaparts.com is listing those sensors as 94-95 and 96-99...is there a real difference?

TIA

according to toyodiy.com, ST202 and ST205 celicas share the same front abs sensors... but the rears have different part numbers (more likely different because of the AWD i suppose).
also ST204 celicas have a different part numbers than the ST202/ST205s and 25% more expensive but there's still a chance that they could still be the same part but just have different part numbers.

also 1994-1995 abs sensors are identical to1996-1999 celicas.

thanx for the reply buddy

are you sure about the 96-99 thing?

here's the 1rsttoyotaparts info i got through their part database:

-Front speed sensor, celica, right 1995 $172.51
Brakes - Anti-lock brakes - Front speed sensor

-Front speed sensor, celica, right 96-99 $165.16
Brakes - Anti-lock brakes - Front speed sensor

can they be the same but just different prices?

the Toyota EPC shows North American liftback celicas from 1994-1995 share the same part numbers as the 1996-1999.
then after checking this from my parts manual, it shows the 1994-95 having different part numbers as the 96-99s.
with that said there's really no other way to confirm which of these is correct but i'm willing to bet the are the same.
