while browsing the internet i came across this little humorous gem, figured you guys would enjoy.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_wire_a_5...97_chrysler_lhs

"
Question:
Can you wire a 500w rms mono sub amp through the fuse box on a 97 chrysler lhs?

Answer

NO NO AND NO, an amp install kit is needed, and you need to tap at the battery. Dont even think about running this big wire through the door jamb, run it through an existing gromit in the firewall and fuse the wire (40-60 amp) within 12 inches of the battery. Disconnect the negative battery wire before you do anything. Ground the amp to solid frame (seatbelt or seat bolts and large ring connectors work well), if you dont, it will ground through the rca cables and make large amounts of smoke when you turn it on. "
