Hey guy's, I will be eventally be doing the swap, But i want to get a list going for me here. To increase the perforamce on this engine.

I plan on getting a clip from venus-auto so thast the first step.

But i also want to get whatever else i need , I plan on getting the KON camshaft and stridder kit. When ig et the money lol.

So that in mind what other parts besides the kits do i need toget the car fast.

Gt2GT4 has told me these so far

dargger Excausht
LSD
Boost controler
Intake

I'm not really sure on where about's to get those either.

So if you know any more parts i sould be getting coudl you list a link to where abouts to get it (if known)

like this : Part: www.getit.com/here

and etc..

Thanks...

also this could be a good thread to stick for future refence for others who plan on doing the swap. If it gets good info.

Well my first question is: did you get your Celica in Canada?
Secondly, w/o presenting myself as an a-hole, do a search. Its quick, its easy, it'll provide alot of info. Theres a sticky about whose done swaps so you should take a look if u havent already.

to get the car fast, well you dont have to do a damn thing its going to be a fast car stock. Intake will do very little and the exhaust on the ST185, u better have a full 3'' to get any increase in performance. THe LSD wont do ne thing to performance except give you better acceleration because you wont be burning out everywhere.

Other things are: Your going to have to get an upgraded clutch, dont use stock. What tranny are u using? Stock GT-S is what ? An S-54? I maybe wrong but someone else can correct me.

And um...wiring? Have fun with that.

no i got my car in the state's it's a GT. but i put GT-S becuase it says it on the manual there.

And i'm not doing the swap my self. im gonna higher someone else for that.
And i did plent reserach on this subject for your information. I just want to see what others have found. and the LSD is for better traction scinei am gonna leave the car FWD. You sould know that. So my tire's arent slipping all over the f'n place.

And the car being fast "stock" isent good i want to get up to around 400-600 hp. I'm just trying to get all the other parts besides the Kon camshaft/stridder kit.
And i plan on getting a better clutch as well. Not leaving the stock one in it.

Good luck with the swap.

Since I haven't personally spoken to Super, I can't say anything about his. But I am eager to hear news about his swap.

I havent run 1/4 mile and wont be until next year sometime. If ne body has questions feel free to ask.

As for getting to the 400 - 600 hp range, ur going to need alot mroe than just that. Your going to upgrade ur turbo, ur internals. Thats not a couple add-ons, thats quite a bit more modification. And your definately going to need a new tranny for that and then your going to need a MR2 turbo with necessary mods to get it to work.
