Hello,

Just bought this 99 GT, but its been wrecked in the past. Is there any easy trick to getting the hood bumber lined up without taking the bumper off? I only ask cause it looks like the bumper is glued to the fenders on both sides. Some shaddy body work. The passenger side bumper needs to move up about a 1/4 inch.

Looks like your fender is off a bit as well. Um, I guess the first thing to do is make sure everything is in its place as far as screws and bolts goes. There should be a lip coming off the bumper cover that sits under the hood. There should be some screws (those plastic set ones if I remember) holding that lip in place. Maybe your missing these?

open your hood, you should see these plastic washers piled up looks like rubber support along the line of the radiator support. 2 on each side. They twist up and down.

So I tried loosening up the screws mentioned to see if the front end could be pushed into the correct position, but its definetly not moving any closer. So I did some measurements. The distance between these frame pieces is different. Forgive me I don't know what there called so I snagged a picture from another post to illustrate. The distance on passenger side is ~2.25 distance on the driver side is ~2.00. Don't see anyway to adjust it.
