Alright i have a bit of a delima...i picked up a 99 steering wheel...and i have a 95 st...4 post to 3 post swap...simple enough right?

heres the deal...the black ring that goes around the wheel that connects to the wires comming out of the steering colum and conects to the air bag...on the 95 ring everything conects except for the clip that clips to the air bag....on the 99 ring everything conects except for the white plug thats a ground i believe?

What i want to know is can i cut the plug that clips to the air bag off of the 99 ring, and splice the conector from the 95 ring onto it? they are both blue and yellow wires...they look the same to me and i dont think i will have a problem...i just want to be 100% positive...i dont need this thing blowing up in my face anytime soon..i hope this is clear enough for everyone...and i included pics to show you what i mean

this is the 95 clip

95 and 99 clips...these are what i want to splice..as you can see both have corrosponding wires, blue and yellow...95 top...99 bottom

95 clip to 99 airbag....this is like trying to fcuk Eva mendes...its just not gonna happen

basically...can they be spiced without a problem...all they are, are differnt clips...Damn toyota is retarted sometimes

thanks guys

You can just cut and splice. Just make sure your connections are good.
