group buys must be approved by a moderator and should be in the For Sale section with the heading GB AFTER being approved by a mod... i would definitely be interested in the dress up panel though... i'll sign up once its finalized!

read the post mate, that is not the final look of the dressing panel, that is to give you a idea of what it will look like, it will be finished in SS with all edges smoothed off. what your looking at is a ally template, all the edges will be laser cut in the finished product.

and i will send a mod a pm asking to approve this to a GB

It looks out of place to me if thats the only cover for the engine bay.

its the 1st design of many to come mate, basically its to cover the horrible hole over on the LHD of the bay, but future plans include one for the back of the engine bay and one for the RHD of the engine.

What is the weight on that SS cooling panel? vincent_doggy's is aluminum and I would assume considerably lighter, but still, what is the weight?

I like the idea man. I think it would make everything look a lot cleaner.. Kind of like the newer cars, how they have the black plastic covers all over the engine bay..

weight wise it would weight a tad more than a ally one, but only by a few grams

The dress up panel on the side of the bay looks very similar to the carbon fiber covers Fensport has on thier 5th, 6th, and 7th gen Celicas...

it is actually based on a dressing panel seen on a GT4 with slight alterations, and at a fraction of the cost
