Whats the difference between a 98 SS2 and a 98 SS3????
now that Ive decided to go with a Beams motor I need 2 decide wether to get SS2 or SS3

i think the SS3 has VVT-i and the SS2 doesn't.

They both have the Beams VVT-I Engine... I think its mainly cosmetics, the SS3 being the higher end model.

Yeah, I'm with Chrobis. I think that the SS-III has optional spoiler posts, front splitters, and rear splitters. I don't think that those were available on the SS-II as a factory option. Also, I think the SS-III had the option for the monitor in the dash, and the SS-II didn't.

Splitters are what enhancements to the body of the car are sometimes called.

If you take a look at this, notice the extra body pieces attached to the front and rear bumpers. Those are what people call splitters, or diffusers, or extensions, etc. smile.gif

yeah whats the engine code on that beams? it's purdy, also what are the specs on it???? most important how hard is to get one??
