can i put in an after market air filter and use it without plugging in the o2 sensor?
any advice would be very much appreciated. |

Your o2 sensor is in your exhaust, I think you're referring to the Intake Air temp sensor. This you can leave out, but then you car will run badly when the weather is hot (leaving it hanging around your engine bay helps, but it's not a true indication of the air temp going into your engine). You're best to just drill a hole and buy a cheap rubber bung that fits the sensor on the inside and the hole around the outside, if you can't make the hole, any decent exhaust shop could cut it for you. |
