everyone's car has some issues here and there.
If someone bought anyone else's car they would see 10 things wrong with it that we don't. Erik's car was fine condition but I'd be a fool to think it was perfect in every way, and I'm sure that Luis is/has taken car of any little bugs or things that just needed to be taken care of. back to topic, nice addition to the family ! -------------------- |

BLAH BLAH BLAH, truth is when someone makes a swap, the car will never be as reliable as a stocker, im not baggin on anyone but the freakin thing likes to have bolts mesteriously dissapear, and who puts the wrench time?? tranny came broken, and i HONESTLY dont think it was Super, something tells me those shippers had their hand at the car, so a whole tranny swap came into it, powersteering banjo bolt flew out, wipers came off lol this car makes me have flashbacks, its got character.....
and people thinking its gone to shizz??? WTH Manny? the car is NO DIFFERENT from the day we got it inside or out other than the wheels???? It sits in my garage for months on end??? added vincent doggy leather lol did that make it less beautiful??? is it the lack of proffesional fotography??? because i can get that done if it will make the car beautiful and well kept again..... Matt, when i got that car it had NO interior, it was almost a full track car, so i did what i could to peice it together, i fixed the block but never messed with any swap stuff like wireing intercooler stuff NADA........ Everyone will find someone elses work subpar, such as how you guys feel about the teal coupe going to us and how i feel about my old hatch, and this whole BS didn't have to happen if someone hadnt have posted that subliminal message eh?? NOW EVERYBODY CHILL, i feel we saved this white hatch, we pulled it straight off the junk yard in the middle of nowhere and i had to buff the crap out of it to make it look white again, i wanted to share that with you guys and a "hey look 3 6gc's"!! smiley face This post has been edited by 95celgt: Mar 2, 2009 - 2:03 PM |

It CAME broken?! If that's the case you should have contacted me immediately because it was 100% working when the dude put it on the trailer. Too late now to raise a stink with them though.
As for the wipers LOL I never had them on (never drove the car in the rain). Did you guys receive the car with them on or in the car? I can't remember if I pulled them off after I got it inspected. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: Mar 2, 2009 - 2:13 PM -------------------- |

yea i figured, i told scott the day we picked it up in s.a. the gears were really hard to put in since then, i blamed it on the 7thgen shifter but no...
also i checked the saved "MAX" on the rev&speed meter............210KM/H and 17,800 rpm or so..............they must have shifted from 5th to 2nd to slow down i suppose :S they were on when we got it, and backwards (driver on passenger and vice versa,) like i said i dont blame you, those shippers messed it up. How is that even possible with the rev limiter?

yes thats what it said on the save from the apex meter, the only way that happens is if you drop a gear when redlining an upper gear, my guess is that they were flying in 5th and threw it down to slow down like morons, (saw this happen in an rsx, flywheel exploded at 13,000 rpm)

rev limiter cuts fuel only
if they down shifted from a high gear hauling ass to a low gear the engine can./will accelerate past rev limit because the engine is getting its power to spin from the inertia of the car and NOT the actual burn of th A/F mixture. Same reason 7th gen GTS' oil pumps explode.
