HI IM NEW TO THE CELICAS IM A FORMER CIVIC OWNER BUT I WRECKED IT.SO HERES MY QUESTION,WHATS THE EASIEST WAY TO SET MY EXHAUST WITH OUT WELDING.I JUST ORDERED HEADER AND HI FLOW CAT,BUT SINCE THERES NO CAT BACK HOW CAN I INSTALL A APEXI N1 MUFFLER WITH OUT WELDING OR HOW FAR BACK WOULD I HAVE TO GO IF I HAD TO GET IT WELDED.THANKS I KNOW THIS KINDA SOUNDS DUMB BUT WORK WITH ME biggrin.gif

first thing you should do is turn off the caps lock

next, a local exhaust shop should be able to fit up everything for you for fairly cheap.

yeah should cost more than 100 to 150 dollars for piping all the way back from the cat, and make sure you put a resonator on it. cause this is a celica and not a honda

What would happen if you didn't put a resonator? I have just the stock exhuast system with an aftermarket muffler, and my friends tried to convince me to cut the resonator out for it to be louder, but i didn't. What would it have done if i did cut it out?

If you cut it out it'll be louder yes, but raspy at the same time.

You know the annoying buzz for which people justifiably make fun of many cars -- notably Civics -- with aftermarket exhausts? That's due to the lack of a resonator.
