Hey guys I've owned my car for a few months, and not had a problem with it. But all of a sudden, I'm having some weird electrical problems. last night i had my windows down, when i finished driving and tried to put them back up, the passenger side worked, and the drivers side tried to go up and stoppeed all of a sudden. After a while and a couple of times turning the car on and off it finally worked. Then today my air con button on my HVAC began flashing then the air-con stopped working. And when i got out of the car the alarm went off. And now i can't activate my alarm any more. And now my air-con works again.

It has come out of nowhere, i haven't changed anything in a few weeks and it's only started in the last 24 hrs, if anyone has any idea what it could be that would be great. Cheers

Not sure about the air-con, but if your ground wire running into your door was fracturing, then it would account for the window and alarm. It the biggest wire in the loom going into the door, and so it's the first to fracture at the hinge cause it doesn't bend as good as the other wires. From memory it's a white wire with a black stripe.

Hope you find the issue.

if you have been recently removed your battery (for cleaning terminals, doing electrical work) make sure all of your wiring is actually connected to the terminals. On the ground side there is a small ring terminal that is easy to miss but if you forget to reconnect it, it can cause sporadic electrical problems. Also, make sure no wires are pinched by bolts, panels, etc.

Thanks guys, It turns out to be a number of different things

The window, I'm not sure about but the switch is a little sticky, so i think a spring or something is broken, not a huge issue because its working now

The air con, i really don't know but the last few days it has run perfectly fine.

The Alarm, now this one is fixed, i have a security button in the car, next to my cig lighter, i had to turn the car on, then off again while holding the button down. The light remained lit for a while, then flashed a few times then went off. That fixed the problem, I believe it was in valet mode, which is designed so when you give a valet your keys, you put it into valet mode and they can only turn the car on, and open the doors, everything is will set off the alarm. (thats what i'm told) anyway it took until after the alarm issue was fixed for my gf to tell me she was playing with the button in the car when she was waiting for me mad.gif

But thanks anyway guys

Don't worry, this is a common problem too. I also have had issues related to this.
