found a really cool logo site so i went wild with my printer. what is your opinion on decals? OK if you actually have the items installed on your car or are they just plain tacky? how many is too many? what about placement? would they be advantageous if you are selling or is it boastful? here are a few shots of homemade and OEM(?) decals. give me your opinion please. BTW i am wearing my flame retardant underpants so you really can't hurt my feelings on this one wink.gif ...

On the car, unless they're paying you a sponsorship fee or something, no way. I do however, find a home for every manufacturer sticker for a product that I have on one of my cars on my toolbox. Good spot for them there.

Too many looks ricey, imo, like you are trying to be sponsored or something. A couple, sure, but not that many. Also, I think decals look good only when they are done in vinyl, which usually follows the designs/letters precisely. The fact that yours were done on some kind of printable sticker that was rectangular looks bad because you can see the excess clear part of the sticker (and bubbles).

If you want decals....go all out, otherwise having stickers here and there in small patches just looks weird. My decals on each passenger side windows are already enough for me. You do what you gotta do though.

hmm i would say keep the one sticker on the hatchback windshield of the family. take all the other ones off. as for the k&n sticker. i have mine on the inside of my engine bay. put the 6gc sticker on your rear windows like everybody else has them. and re-arrange stickers on your rear window so that they are closer together...

In regards to being advantageous for selling: the stickers would be a no go.

Best way to remember is KISS. Keep it simple stupid. tongue.gif

6gc.net stickers on side windows, keep the fambam one cause thats for you.

I have the 6gc.net ones on the sides and they look clean. Only other stickers I added was an Enjoi Panda in the middle of the hatch window and a GrassRootsMotorports one on my passenger window..only visible when the window is up.

those are really bad stickers imo. Since the whole sticker is a rectangle and you can see the clear bit on the car and it looks cheap. If your going to do it buy the ones which is like "only the letters are stickied" while nothing else is. Otherwise it looks tacky

Windows are alright imo, if they are in a bunch. Plan how you are going to put your stickers, i rekon this will break or make your car look better. Putting em on a angle in a corner always looks best i rekon.

+1 for that. My toolbox is covered in stickers and old emblems from working at the dealer
