how do I remove the mount from the old right side CV axle? The braket is mounted on the ball bearings of the right CV axle and wiggles just a bit but wont come off.

You're going to have to press it off - you might have to bring it to a shop.
But why do you want to remove it? -------------------- |

you could hammer it off but it's going to be very difficult and possibly damage the bearings.. it would be much easier and safer to use a hydraulic press to push it off.

yea, hammering it will just ruin the bearing.
you need to press it off. any local shop should be able to do it for a minimal fee if you cant do it yourself. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

The RH axle is broken so I replaced it but the bearings on the new axle are showing and that mount on the broken axle looks like it protected the bearings from being messed up. Thanks for your help guys I'm gonna take it in to press
