Lol you guys are nuts, I have the spherical ones right now and helped tighten things up front. Your new ones look very solid and will help for your auto-x for sure. I've looked into them before

Mine did as well when I first installed them. But after the 1.5 year that I didnt drive the car I got back in it and the steering felt more loose than I remember it NOT to be haha.
It could have always been that way

It may be a bad toe setting, but regardless it will be addressed this weekend.

I just dont like how my Fit feels more precise with its steering than the Celica frown.gif

Those.look.awesome.

hopefully they perform as good as they look!

Sadly, I had to remove the oil pan (which I had sealed like a champ) to remove the entire oil pump assembly.

The two bolt holes that hold the oil rotor section to the whole oil pump were stripped clean, retapped one, but wasnt able to drop the engine enough to re tap the upper hole.
The re tapping didnt look very clean and I didnt feel comfortable running with it.

SO I ordered an new Aisin oil pump. Lets see if this will finally resolve my leak.

LOL also I just ordered the pump last night...this morning went to check on my order and on the catalog the pump increased?!
I paid $77, it now is being sold for $85 what goes on here?

I feel like I should reinforce that mounting bracket on the control arm. I heard of them snapping off before and I'd rather that not happen to mine.

More like a $100, and that's shipped to Europe, should be more to USA.

Jon (808) was saying the same thing.
The awesome thing about the stock seats is that they have a height adjustable lower seat.
the stock seats are also side mounted, which is why they are able to sit so low.

I got the Planted tech brackets too. well they come in tomorrow.
I didnt buy rails, and will be direct mounting them to the bracket. That should save me 3/4" or so of height. Hopefully they wont sit too high, my helmet hits the ceiling when sitting in the stock seats at their lowest setting!

I just went to the nearby grocery store and rented a Rug Doctor and the hand held attachment. It was $40 or so for a 24hr rental along with a small bottle of solution.
Worked really well.

Taking the car back down the Maryland today. Found some unfortunate issues with the car that might keep me from racing as much as I had planned this summer frown.gif
Ill post some pics later

slight pitting on this lobe, all others are without pitting

My thought is that these have had their fun in the sun and need to be replaced soon.

Any thoughts?
