oh and as far as the car scene, its just starting to wake up from the winter (or lack there of this year.. lol).. dont worry you will see allot .. and there should be a HUGE car meet coming up at MSU in collage park.

it may be a bit out of the way for you, but you should check out CDC. they are one of the local auto-x clubs in the area, but well worth the trip imo.. run what you brung club w/ points.. next one is end of april.

I saw the flyer for the CPT meet, and I am for sure going to that. I searched around and saw all these meets around columbia but the most recent posts where last yeah so, like you said, its just starting.

sure, ill let you know.. motor is still on the stand. but as soon as i get my new bolts the thing is getting put back together (just waiting on new flex plate bolts).. and then its a 1 tank break in, and im on my way down there..

doesn't sound like you are too far from finishing up!
The motor is retarded, and is probably of a tooth or two.
Just a pain to fix and I don't have the time to do it right now.

I'm also deciding on whether or not, for my next set of Works, if I should go with 5x114.3 and get adapters that will fill the remaining offset.
Works have so many more offset options with 5x114.3

BATMAN GOT BUSTED!!! woke up to the news this morning, of police having had pulled over the silver spring batman. he had forgot to put his regular (non batman) tags back on the car.. the cops were having fun with it.. and even had their pix taken with him...

The car scene is fairly active around here, you just have to know where to look.
UMD meets get pretty big when they do happen.
ISP (shop in laurel) used to house some interesting friday night events and I95 races..but you gotta have a $$$ car to compete.
lots of highend euro stuff goes on in the background.
Saturday Morning in Great Falls, Va @ Katie's Coffee there is Cars n Coffee meets, your car would be awesome to see there. Mostly high end cars + hotrods though.

Im patiently waiting for the College Park Mega meet.
I may have to stop by the shop in laurel and get to know the locals.

I heard about the cars and coffee, but waking up earlier than I have to wake up for work in the week seems a bit outlandish to ask of me haha.
I do want to make a couple appearances tho.

Yea I'm normally at the Great Falls CnC, just let me know via pm or something if you want to go one saturday morning.
It normally empties out around 0930/1000. But if you like highend or the rare its a great place to be at. Breakfast @ Katie's is pretty good too.

I've only been to ISP like 2 or 3 times probably 2 or 3 years ago so don't know how it is now. I think there is MDstreetscene and VAdriven as far as websites go

In fact I do, that was the crowd I was around when I was in PGH. I enjoy that kind of crowd...alot less tom foolery than the import scene. Although the import scene isnt THAT bad.

I joined MD streetscene a couple weeks ago but it is fairly dead. Ill see what VA has going on in the NOVA area.

The e46 meet is in Hunt valley. Probably 40-50min drive. Its a bit closer than Great Falls, but I would assume Great Falls has a better selection of vehicles



I will probably head down to the Great Falls meet the weekend following Easter

for $3700!!!


although I LOVE white rims. I cannot see myself having 2 sets. Next set is going to be different.
I would like to have my current Grams in a better offset, they are my favorite rims, its just unfortunate that they arent the best fitting
