So the other day i started up the celi and at first it hesitated then started up. but at the same time, the instrument gauge panel and the radio suddenly all lost power. weird thing is the only thing that works on the instrument panel is the door ajar light. Also, the car alarm does not work either. I have checked some of the fuses and they appear to be fine. any ideas? perhaps a relay that went out somewhere? Thanks in advance.

yup! car starts fine.

what fuse do i need to replace for the big ones possibly?

all the gauges btw. only thing that lights up is the door ajar

well to specify, lights on the instrument panel, and the gauges have no power so they dont move i believe

i checked the fuses under the hood, everything is fine and working, however, a couple are not working under the dash. i checked the resistance of the existing fuses and they are fine, just some arent getting power? ideas?

so i had my car looked at by a shop, they said that the alternator breaker which is 100 amp got melted which is located on the firewall. They said they do not know the cause, but are looking into it.
