Hey all, need some info on how to properly remove the cruise control cable and module from the engine bay. I have both haynes/chilton manuals plus the toyota service shop manuals all 3 books and it doesn't show or say anything about how to remove the cruise control units so any info would help before I tackle this Thanks.
My cruise control never worked anyway and I don't use it so I could use more space in the engine bay just in case someone asks. -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE

1 unplug the acuator, unhook the cable, and unbolt the bracket from the car
2 remove/unhook the cable from the pedal and pull the cable through the firewall (or cut it at the firewall) 3 done 4 if you really want to be cool you can remove the cruise ecu, located to the right of the glove bax under the dash, but no need or just do step 1 and let the cable hang. -------------------- |

Pretty much like Batman said. If you remove the cable it gives you a nice hole in the firewall to run wires for guages, fogs, etc..
If you need an extra hand, gimme a call. -------------------- |
