THis could be considered spam but I was searching on the site and could find little usable information.
I am currently building a 7age motor, ( Yes I know im sure someone is going to tell me " Your wasting your money go boost, ect" but im looking for a tunned daily driver/autocross car im not looking for tons of power and drag race, I'm looking for 180hp at the crank ). I will be running a compression ratio of about 11.7ish as of now. I was wondering if any one has real experience or input on a standalone ECU setup? I have heard MegaSquirt is the way to go, but that about it. I havent been able to find any details on install details, problems, wiring ect? Yes I am aware Mega Squirt comes with instructions. mr2oc.com... they use honda ecu's... i did the research... and picked myself up the AEM... its the most expensive but in my opinion well worth it... piggybacks are sometimes asking for trouble... the AEM is direct PnP so i can go back easily as well...
