okay i'v been doing my research and all,i'v used the search button, and i'v been here for a while, and i know what you guys are going to say Forced Introduction or slow....lmao

but is there nothing else we can do to our cars 7a's and 5s's besides"intake, exhaust, header, advanced timing, higher octane fuel, pulleys, cams, and the rest of the interior of the engine?

am thinking of just getting headers and the exhaust (got an intake),and do my suspension, and save up for a boost or swap...

help me out here

get a 3S-GE 3rd gen engine use your 5S-FE internals to stroke out the 3S-GE to a 2.2L then add some cams up the compression

Not much you can do with the 7A, it was never really meant for performance. Don't even bother to buy headers if your planning to go turbo later on it will just be an extra waste of money since u need turbo headers not NA headers. I would just suggest you save your money for the Engine swap. The rest you can focus on getting a rear disc brake conversion or fixing your supension. You could prob get yourself a nice new sounding exhaust but Don't get any catback at this time. The new Engine will require you to get a new catback anyways or wielding done to make stuff fit right and thats when you can decide if you want 3" piping or even 4..... I would mostly focus on making the car look nice in the first process and then focus on performance afterwards.

Both motors are economy purpose motors, not performance. Without doing major engine building/changes, and probably a head swap on either motor, you just aren't going to get that much power out of them. If you really want a bunch of power you need to swap, or turbocharge your motor.

I've given up hope of the Celica being a performance beast. I'm going to make my GT a little more fun as a DD with a full exhaust and 294 Webcams regrind, but otherwise I'll just take the money I'd spend trying to get a little more power and buy a car/motorcycle that's already fast.

Since you have a GT you can turbo, which would give you satisfiable power. You can do a swap too but its useless, you might as well turbo your 5s, unless you plan on big power for the 3s I mean in the high 300s to 400s and beyond.

You don't turbo the Beams 3s-ge engine... This has been covered many times over.
