Does anyone know where I can find and obtain the part number for the alternator wiring harness? It has come to that time now. Also, how easy or hard is it to re-route the battery to the rear of the car? I am thinking about doing that because my stupid battery loves to get chopped up by the fan and no matter how hard I mount it in place, it manages to slide up and get hit by it. These stupid bumpy roads here.

I need this asap, because I need to get my car running again. I have to go and have it diagnosed now for the stupid short that is causing my guage fuse to keep blowing, but the car has a dead battery and about to go get my alternator tested again and probably have to buy a new battery since this one got chopped into. ARGH!!!!! So I need that alternator wire harness!

the 3 pin, or the wire to your battery?

I got it. But now I have a bigger problem!

Ok, I got my new alternator plug, came off a 95 GT just like mine, although the colors of the wires do not match mine. I connect them the same order as my old alternator wire harness and the battery light is on now. I have a brand new optima battery and I dunno what is causing it. I ran the test where you unplug the negative battery cable and the car does shut off. However I got the alternator tested and it passed twice. I know my fuses keep blowing for my gauge cluster, and now I am concerned with if in fact the battery light is on because something is grounding? Do you think the wires have a different order that is affected by perhaps a different order on the new alternator wire harness? The plug that plugs into your alternator? A bad cable with the connection that secures with a nut on the top of the alternator? Any help is really appreciated, and I desperately need help on this matter. Or any suggestions on what I can do to trace the problem?
