I came across this article online Celispeed that says you can ditch the Charcoal Canister on a JDM 3sgte?
the article is huge but here is the part that im referring to: "You can unbolt your charcoal canister, and throw it away, as you don't need it, and it will give you a little more space to work with when your putting your motor back in. As well if you purchased a JDM motor, you won't have any EGR components" I wouldn't mind having some extra room in the engine bay. Can anyone confirm or explain why you couldn't do this? Id like to know the proper way to get rid of it (what hoses to cap off etc) OR if i need to keep it, the proper way to hook it up. (Im not entirely sure if i got it right the first time) thanks for any insight This post has been edited by eggman40: Mar 31, 2009 - 10:38 PM |
