Hey, whats up? So, your just looking for a bulb/twist lock base that is all ready set up to go? Cause I know the CC how to mentions something about reusing the old twist lock base with a new LED bulb (some work involved in that). Im not too sure if anyone tried the 10mm neo wedges he mentioned in the how to. It would be nice to know, as I have my spare torn down already.

Try the following link...there is plenty of info on exactly this topic:

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...hl=lighter+bulb

Another option I used instead of re-using the old bulb base is a "T4 Neo Wedge"...the base is 10mm diameter and the hole is 9.5mm but trust me they fit nicely.

On page 2 there is some cracking info on even changing the stereo lights...but not for the faint hearted!

spider77: yes i am my friend smile.gif
Maybe i wil go for the 10 mm thing and see what happens

Welsh-celica:
So i can just use a T4 neo wedge instead of the old thing and then it will fit and work perfectly?
Will these do then??

Funny enough that is the very same seller that I bought mine off as well! They will fit...just make sure you use a philips head screw driver that fits the head of the T4 as the plastic is soft.

I used these same LEDs in my rear fog light switch and my headlight washer switch...one was a T3 and the other a T4.

an LED is not going to provide you with light that is going to be evenly seen throughout the CC... you're going to have some dark and light spots as well as black out areas (A/C button)... the only way to get it to look right with LED's is a custom fabrication...

I would do as "njccmd2002" and add a couple more leds onto the existing led slots...it will help give off more light as LEDs tend to be a bit more directional light than a bulb.
