Ever get pics of the Tan set? Even a pic of the tan arm rest for reference would help!
If you don't have pics, maybe a discount on a Tan set if I take pics :-) hehe --------------------

I got a set of the front covers for a 94 Celica GT Coupe with tan leather seats. They are the right shape, but the seats/brackets are totally different than the ones shown in the install thread linked in the first post in this thread. The installation is very different, much more difficult because there is no 'cord' system among other things such as the seat disassembly is more complex. I got the front passenger seat disassembled and the cover test fitted, but threw in the towel on these after dealing with the lack of 'cord' system and other things. I am now looking for a set of used seats instead or just going to finally upgrade to racing seats for this car. Just wanted to warn those interested in trying this on a 94 Celica GT Coupe with tan leather seats and any other models with the same seats that you must be determined to install these. They are definitely fit, but it is not an easy affair to get them installed properly.

Hey, I know I am bumping an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone installed these on any stock cloth seats? Mine are cloth, and I think if these don't fit I will have to go to the junkyard and try to find some new foam.

Whether the seats are cloth or Leather originally doesnt matter.
You just remove the original covers, and put the new ones on. Its really simple, though a bit time consuming. Took me and a friend 3 hours to do the swap. The result is awsome |

Thanks for the advice, I was concerned because I read that the stock leather seats were slightly different than the stock cloth seats. There are potentially three different types of front seat for the 6GC. When I do retrims, I have to make absolutely sure of which type the customer has, otherwise the new covers could potentially be too long or too short to fit. -------------------- |

Well yes, in the ST (7AFE) the shoulder pads are slightly smaller, so there will be a bit access room there, but can either be sorted by a bit of foam, or just let i be ( its not THAT big of a deal). When i changed to GT (3sge) seats my covers fitted perfectly and didnīt have the access on the shoulder pads. So atleast there is 2 different types of the Celica seats that i know of, and the Vincent mold is made from the GT seats.

There are different lengths of seatback too That can have a massive impact on the fit. -------------------- |
