If anyone has removed the quarter window glass on a convertible, I'd appreciate some hints.

Can't quite figure out how to disconnect the glass from the motor arm.

The factory manual shows a pin with a simple simple hairclip/cotterpin that you remove to disconnect.

They must have made changes after the manual was published, because that's not what I have on the car. It's a bolt with a coil spring over it. The head of the bolt is not accessible. confused.gif

Just take the whole assembly out, (regulator, motor) I believe its 5 or 6 nuts for both; then you can detach the window from the motor. If you have any more ??s pm me. smile.gif
