So, i just finished the install of spree's LED dash kit... was a good day, got both that and my copy of forza horizon in the mail. Anyhow, got it all installed into the dash, got both the dash and CC unit hooked back up. Turn the key, annnnnnd nothing. No biggie, led's are backwards, flip a few of them around annnnnd still nothing. Okkkk... So i either fried my entire vehicle's lighting system, yeah right, ooooorrr the interior lighting is wired in series and won't work with some of the other lights in. So as it stands, EVERY light in the entire car (save the exterior lighting) is out of the vehicle. She's all stripped down, curious if anyone knows which lights i need to reinstall to see my new pimped out lighting in action.

So far i've pulled the courtesy lights out of the door panels, and the overhead map light out of the headliner for install. Do i need the rear trunk light too? or do i need any of these? Do i really have some sort of electrical gremlin?

If you have any info it'd be greatly appreciated.

I should also mention, though i doubt it matters, but the seats are out as well so airbag switches are disconnected and when i did turn the vehicle on, i got warning lights, just no backlights.

I know the interior lights are in series.. Make sure the dimmer switch is connected, as well as the hazard light switch! When i installed my spree kit, I forgot the dimmer and racked my brain for a good half hour..

Haha, yeah, i knew about that one... plugged it in only moments after seeing it not light up the first time so it's not that...

It's the driver side window controls if anyone was wondering.

Now if only i could get my clock/ignition ring working

Interior lights are in parallel. Not Series. They feed from a common positive bus, branch out into thier respective parallel branch and then to ground. Some of those wires going to ground run the rheostat, which varies the ground and allows dimming.

Common mistakes when installing LED or other lighting mods is to run more current thru the rheostat than it was designed for and damage it.

Do your glove box, ashtray, rear window defogger switch, combination meter lights work?

Could be as simple as a fuse.

If just your seatbelt light, clock, map light, curtsey lights, and trunk lights don't work, theres a 10amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box (don't remember what its called, but its by the am2 fuse), check that, mine was going out causing it all to flicker.
