Is short shifter disadvantage on transmission ?
i would like to change a short shifter on st204. |

no i got a 7th gen its not too short...not too high

Could you elaborate a little more as to what you're refering to as a disadvantage? A short shifter will not shorten the life of your transmission, or do any damage (on its own). If you smash into each gear you will break something, but thats the only real disadvantage. It is really only for aesthetics, not performance. TRD makes a nice unit, TWM is my personal favorite. Many people look on eBay and buy a cheap shifter for the 7th generation Celica as well.
