Has anyone tried re-dying their upholstery? Does anyone have any advice on technique, and what types of paint can be used?
Initially I was considering dying everything in factory colours. My upholstery is starting to show some fading and I was thinking dying it may give it a fresh look. Potentially i was thinking of changing the colour as well, e.g. black with tan combinations (at the moment it is black/dark blue fabric upholstery).

ofcourse i considered replacing the chairs with new ones, but besides that being rather expensive, there are no replacement seats for the back seat available, which would have to be done as well...

What equipment/paint did you use and how did you do it? I may want to do those as well, and in any case I can use the technique for the bits I want to do smile.gif

Try the following link...I am sure it is available all sides of the water. I was going to try it out as seen several videos and it seems to be nice and doesn't dry all stiff or anything:
