you must be able to pick a 3S-GE or crank up from a breaker or sumat in Germany, just a quick trip over the border

It's balanced different and it's thicker and if I remember right has also different number of flywheel nuts. -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

27th of July, 2009... final update: with almost tears in my eyes I must say it's over. Another two tries to get useful engine and nothing. I can not handle that anymore. My technician is not able to hold budget, timing and what we have agreed. So I have spend $6750 for parts so far but it's useless now...now I must think what to do. However this project is over . You are knocking on the WRONG doors Martin, if you spent so much - and still have nothing... I did Marchius swap for less amount of money including Caldina ST246 4gen 3SGTE motor, Mega squirt ECU, Custom FMIC, Full 3' exhaust, Tune-up, and custom Clutch... If you told me - i would sourched you atleast 3 motors.... But you never mentioned me about this project.... About 3SGE engines - last one i sold - price for it was 400$ including Titanium header by fujitsubo, and engine was in perfect condition with 80K km... You can always go and buy 2gen 3SGE and go crazy with it... If you need any help Martin - let me know... My shedule is super busy still - but i will do my best if you need something. Thanks folks.. now I'm just calculating what next. Half of my budged is gone (or let's say in parts I'm not sure I can use) and thinking what is the best way now. I still want more than 200HP and still do not want to give everything up. I hope there will be results soon...
To doGGy: Romas, I gave you some messages on April this year to confirm you start working on my car on May but you haven't answered. I just assumed you are oveloded with work so you just have no time. So I made decision. Wrong decision. Now I must deal with that . I will send you message again and we try to figure out something. Shall we? -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

QUOTE (malpaso) Unfortunately it is not . It's balanced different and it's thicker and if I remember right has also different number of flywheel nuts. I think you might be getting confused with the blacktop 3sge. the redtop is still 6 nuts and blacktop is 8 or something like that, but I could be wrong? I really hope you get something figured out! I know you'll never get your money back for the work done to the motor, but after you get everything done, you'll surely be able to sell some of those parts to recover some of your losses. At least I hope so, for your sake. Best of luck to you! I was hoping after you got this done, it might be the next "featured ride."
