Just sold my GT after five trouble free years and finally bought a GT-Four (ST205) and then i've noticed a slight warbling noise at 3000 rpm when steady on the throttle. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

It doesn't seem to be affecting performance in anyway - good, strong and relatively hesitant free boost to 0.9bar is achieved, but it is concerning to hear the engine make odd noises kindasad.gif laugh.gif

I've listened for any indication of ringlands having blown (such as the subaru boxer sound) and watched for smoke coming from the dipstick... nadda... thankfully!

I found on a new 5s motor the balance shaft bearings were shot. This also had a enique sound.
