a friend and I got into a discussion the other day. I am just wondering if anyone here could shed some light on this. my friend just bought a 93 gts celica I have a celica st and my other friend has a 04 corolla with the 1zz. we were wondering which car is faster? like off the line or even long run. the gts is stock and my st and the corolla only have a cai exhaust and suspension. all three are 5 speed. we don't really wanna race to fine out. so can anyone answer this?

Since we're on the subject of quarter mile runs.

93 GTS (2.2 litre) roughly low 17s to mid 16s
94 ST (1.8 litre) roughly 18s to low 17s
04 Corolla (1.8 litre) mid to low 17s

93 GTS wins /thread

I found something today sayin 0-60 for the corolla is like 8.49seconds not Shabby. we always talk about when we was gonna run them lol we never will tho ha. oh how bout this. add these along with the previously listed 90 240 sx coupe 5 speed 04ish or up sedan focus 5 speed and like a 95 honda accord sedan?

Sorry, never seen a stock 240 or a stock Focus run the quarter mile. The accord though could get low 17s to high 16s.
