i was thinking of swapping my 5s and putting a 3sge (red top) but i was wondering if the stock gt tranny would be able to handle the power of the 3s and also is there alot aftermarket parts for this engine

iirc we didnt get the red top 3sge. so there isnt parts for it.

learn Japanese and make friends with natvie japanese people.

ya about the manual for this engine. it is all in japanese. Since the beams was only made in japan.

99.9% of the time engine swaps come with transmission. Both 5sfe and 3sge celicas have the same transmission s54. 3rd gen and 4th gen 3sge transmission have a longer final drive. Longer 5th gear. check out rpmgarage.com for engine clips. some guys have turboed 5sfe with up to 300hp and 280 pounds of torque with stock transmission. so you shoud be fine.
