So a beautiful car is one that blends in? Interesting.

No, I think the MK1 MR-2 is a sexy machine. The 6th gen never held my eye, and it's lack luster performance never did. I'd rock a V6 swapped GT though.

Oooooo .... love MK1 MR2's ... had an N/A '89 when I was 19 ... beat the piss out of it, loved it ... blew a head gasket, sold it. Blew a lot of head gasket in my teens beating on cars I shouldn't have.

Hmm ... "blew a lot of head ... in my teens ... I shouldn't have" Add that to the list of sentences I should never say again.

So I set it on the ground today with all 4 wheels, new suspension holding it's own weight for the first time. Yay.

Driving it for the weekend. I need to learn how to drive again.

1. I'm turning in too much in anticipation of understeer and sliding. I haven't gotten it to do either yet.
2. I'm slowing for turns too much, right handers at 35 entering and I find myself able to hammer throttle at apex and exit at 40 without even a hint of anything other than going where I point it.
3. Rides like a F-250 SuperDuty.

I found a beautiful 86 in OH:

This is one time I wish I had some spare cash and a flat bed. Just needs a head gasket.

Final ride height is set! I can get the alignment set bang on next week sometime. I need to fix front camber and caster and check the rest out.
